1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Branding Blaze collects through brandingblaze.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. “Branding Blaze”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the digital marketing agency based at Tower C, First Floor, 17 Vardhaman Enclave, near Swami Narayan Temple, opp. KIA Gopinathji showroom, Atladara, Vadodara, Gujarat 390012, India.

This policy applies to visitors of our website, people who contact us or subscribe to our updates, job applicants, and prospective or existing clients. By using our website or sharing your information with us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We handle personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they apply to us.

2. Information we collect

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and screen size
  • Pages viewed, time spent, referring website and the date and time of your visit
  • Approximate location based on your IP address
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see section 5)

Information from third parties

  • Details you share with us through ad platforms such as Meta or Google lead forms when you respond to one of our campaigns
  • Publicly available business information, such as your company website or professional profile

We do not knowingly ask for sensitive personal data such as passwords, payment card numbers, health records or government ID numbers through our website. Please do not send these to us through the contact form.

3. How we collect information

We collect information in four ways:

  • Directly from you: when you submit the contact form, email or call us, message us on WhatsApp, apply for a role, or sign a service agreement.
  • Automatically: through cookies, server logs and analytics tools when you browse the site.
  • Through our campaigns: when you respond to an ad or lead form we run on social media or search platforms.
  • From public sources: such as your business website or professional profile, when we prepare a proposal for you.

4. How we use your information

We use your information for specific, lawful purposes and nothing beyond them:

  • To reply to your enquiries, prepare proposals and schedule calls
  • To deliver the services you hire us for, such as performance marketing, social media management, SEO, web design and development, graphic design and branding
  • To send invoices, manage payments and keep records we are legally required to keep
  • To send updates, offers or blog content, only where you have agreed to receive them
  • To understand how the website is used, fix problems and improve content and speed
  • To measure and improve our own advertising
  • To review job applications and contact shortlisted candidates
  • To protect the site and our business against fraud, spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

5. Cookies, pixels and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to understand how visitors use it. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser.

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and manage ad personalisation through your Meta and Google account settings.

Because there is no common standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals yet, we do not currently respond to them.

6. Sharing and third-party service providers

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Website hosting, security and maintenance providers
  • Analytics and advertising platforms such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn
  • Communication tools such as WhatsApp, email and video call services
  • Project management, CRM, accounting and payment tools
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers

These providers handle data under their own privacy terms and, where applicable, under confidentiality commitments to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when a court or government authority lawfully asks for it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our team, clients or others. If Branding Blaze is ever merged with or acquired by another business, your information may be transferred as part of that deal, and we will tell you if it affects your rights.

7. Client and campaign data

When we run campaigns for a client, we often handle data that belongs to the client, such as ad account access, website analytics, customer lists and leads generated from ads. In those cases the client decides why and how that data is used, and we process it only on the client’s instructions and for the agreed work.

  • We use client data only to deliver the services in our agreement.
  • We ask for the minimum account access needed, and we remove it when the engagement ends.
  • We do not reuse one client’s data for another client or for our own marketing.
  • Clients remain responsible for having a lawful basis and a privacy notice of their own for the data they collect from their customers.

If you are a customer or lead of one of our clients and want to access, correct or delete your data, please contact that business first. We will help them respond.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as the law requires.

Data How long we keep it
Website enquiries and contact form messages Up to 24 months after our last conversation
Client records, contracts and invoices As required by Indian tax and company law, generally 8 years
Job applications Up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you ask us to remove it sooner
Newsletter and marketing subscriptions Until you unsubscribe
Website analytics data Up to 26 months, or as set in the analytics tool

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on our website, access controls on our tools and accounts, regular software updates, and confidentiality obligations for team members who handle client data.

No website or online service can be made completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law, without unreasonable delay.

10. Your rights and choices

You are in control of your personal data. Under Indian law you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • Correct or update data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Erase your data, unless we must keep it by law
  • Withdraw consent you gave us earlier, which will not affect past lawful use
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated
  • Escalate a complaint to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response

To use any of these rights, email us at info@brandingblaze.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and enough detail for us to identify you. We aim to respond within 30 days. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message or write to us and we will remove you.

11. Children’s privacy

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please write to us and we will delete it promptly.

Our website and blog may link to other websites, social media pages and tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing your information.

Some of the tools we use, such as Google, Meta, WhatsApp and cloud hosting providers, store data on servers outside India. When your data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected, and we follow any restrictions the Government of India places on such transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, tools or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. For significant changes, we will post a notice on the website or email you where we have your address. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
